Human Development is the study of how human beings develop physically, mentally, emotionally and socially within the context of the family and society. It offers an interdisciplinary approach to individual and family development across the lifespan. It covers the stages of lifespan from conception to old age to promote holistic development and face the challenges of day-to-day life. The course curriculum prepares graduates for professional careers related to working with infants, children, adolescents, adults, elderly and families in social and human service settings, all of which provide opportunities for student participation and learning.
