Objectives

To implement the University's reservation policy for SC/ST
To conduct follow-up steps in order to achieve the objectives and targets set by the Government of India and the UGC.
To implement, continuously monitor and assess the University's reservation policy, as well as devise steps to ensure the proper execution of Government of India policies and programs.
To offer various scholarship and fellowship programs to SC/ST students at the Institute.
To regularly monitor and assess the implementation of various scholarship/fellowship schemes/policies in the Institute and to design actions for the effective implementation of government policies and programs.
To assist the Institute's SC/ST students in making the best use of the benefits of the Scholarship schemes granted by the State and Central Government (MHRD/UGC).
