Kalam’s World Record Official Attempt

The Department of Printing Technology, School of Engineering, Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women, Coimbatore, in collaboration with the Tirupur Master Printers Association and the All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP),organized the prestigious  Kalam’s World Record Official Attempt — the Largest Screen Printing of the Indian National Flag, measuring 18 x 12 feet today 22nd April 2025. As part of this record-setting initiative, students from the Department of Printing Technology actively participated by screen-printing the Indian National Flag, demonstrating their technical skills and dedication to the printing profession. This achievement has been recognized by Kalam's World Records.
