About ARL

              Advanced Research Laboratory (ARL) was established in the year 2012 to facilitate research of high standards with funds received from DST-CURIE scheme. This Centralised Instrumentation facility called the Advanced Research Laboratory has been set up to house most of the higher end equipments purchased by all the departments in the Institution. The purpose of establishing the centre is to promote high quality research in various disciplines by providing facilities and technical expertise in support of basic and advanced research activities with high end state of the art equipment-The laboratory serves as a platform to promote scientific thinking and experimental exposure for the faculty and students as well.

Vision

        The vision of this centre is to provide and share research expertise involving skilled and highly laborious techniques with recent advancement in the field of Biological Sciences to all researches and faculty members enabling them to do quality research.

Mission

            Advanced technical skills and expertise in Bioscience research is shared to the various stakeholders- faculty, researchers, students of our institute and the organisations outside in the form of workshops, internships, training programmes, consultancy services and also outsourcing to genrate income for the facility.

Objectives

• To carry out analysis of the samples for biological and pharmacological application received from academic and research institutions, industries, and other organizations.
• To provide advanced instrumentation facilities or demonstration of high end equipment facility for researchers and faculties.
• To organize short-term courses/workshops on the application of various Chromatographic, Spectroscopic, Electrophoretic, Cell culture and analytical technques for researchers and faculties and personnel from industries.
