Alumni

Any educational institution touches new realms of fame and glory because of the alumnae who diverge from the portals of their alma mater to carve a niche for themselves in different parts of the world.

The Alumnae Association of the Avinashilingam University is providing a forum for its alumni to recall their acquaintance with the institution which nurtured them through their academic life. It is also a forum to develop a life-long friendship between the alumnae and the present students of the University.

The Association has office bearers who coordinate the alumnae activities in consultation with the Chancellor, Vice-Chancellor and Registrar of the University. Each Faculty of the university is encouraged to organize specific activities for its alumnae and garner support of the alumnae over the years. The annual meet of the alumnae association is attended by large number alumnae who attend these events to exchange reminiscences and establish lost ties with their friends and batchmates.

They attend functions organized by various departments from time to time and motivate the present day students to imbibe in them the great ideals of the University. The university has also invited outstanding alumnae every year and honoured them as a token of gratitude for their support to the university.

The association is growing from strength to strength and we are formulating new ways to reach out to more alumnae of our University.

Alumnae of the University are requested to register online in order to help the association update its database.

The Institute is collecting details of alumnus and the feedback to improve the facilities and standard of the courses offered in Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women. Please send your suggestion to mailto:alumni@avinuty.ac.in

Till date 25,585 members have registered with our Alumnae Association
