Obtaining communal harmony by disseminating the ideals of Mahatma Gandhiji by involving students and teachers to undertake studies, research and field work based extension service programmes of constructive work.

Gandhian Studies Center
Year of Inception: 2005
Renowned Gandhian Dr. T.S. Avinashilingam called as “Ayya”, started the Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women, Coimbatore. He had dedicated his entire life, following the footsteps of Mahatma Gandhi. As a disciple of the apostle of peace, Ayya was one among the great leaders to be inspired by Gandhiji’s inspiring human values, awakening a new consciousness with the desire for the liberation of mankind.
