• The primary activity of the IMF is to provide effective and economical services, both maintenance and repair of scientific instruments and electronic hardware.
• The IMF shall strive to satisfy quality of the service rendered for majority of scientific instruments.
• The IMF provided training for lab assistants to enhance their technical skills.
• Aims to exchange experience with other IMF centers providing similar services around the country.

It provides essential support of servicing and maintaining laboratory Instruments and Electronic items utilized in various laboratories of our university.
