Objectives of the Centre

  • To create awareness among the students and community about the contribution of Dr. B.R.Ambedkar through books, lectures, media, etc;
  • To motivate the youth to work for the cause of betterment of the depressed class.
  • To spread the ideals of Ambedkar among the masses;
  • To disseminate the information about the programmes formulated by the Government of India for uplifting the level of living of the depressed class.

  • The primary activity of the IMF is to provide effective and economical services, both maintenance and repair of scientific instruments and electronic hardware.
  • The IMF shall strive to satisfy quality of the service rendered for majority of scientific instruments.
  • The IMF provided training for lab assistants to enhance their technical skills.
  • Aims to exchange experience with other IMF centers providing similar services around the country.

Instrumentation Maintenance Facility

Profile

The Instrumentation Maintenance Facility (IMF) was sanctioned with financial grant from UGC XI- Plan Merged Scheme. It provides essential support of servicing and maintaining laboratory Instruments and Electronic items utilized in various laboratories of our university. The IMF technicians also extend support facilities to all the departments of the University to ensure optimal utilization of instruments

NCC-Special Activities

UNIT: 5 TN GIRLS BATTALIONYEAR 2013-2014 Defence Exhibition was conducted on 08.02.2013 at Ettimadai and 20 Cadets participated, and gained knowledge about different sectors of Armed Forces. A Cancer Awareness rally was conducted on 10. 07.2013, 127 cadets participated to create awareness on the importance of early diagnosis of identification of cancer. It was inaugurated by Dean of Students Affairs Dr.S.Rohini (Prof).
