        Microbes are ubiquitous, existing in virtually every environment on Earth, from the deepest oceans to the human gut. Microbes have become the most fundamental for exploring various basic and advanced concepts in the world of life sciences. In recent years, the study of microbes has uncovered a hidden world of tiny organisms that play crucial roles in our health, environment, and food systems. Being an infectious agent, it needs to be eradicated with the commercial antibiotics or newly developed formulations/ drug-like compounds. Still, many microbes play a beneficial role and have to be cultivated for the well-being of human, animals and plants. 

        With the strong foundational knowledge in the stream of microbiology, the Microbiology Research Centre strives to provide a comprehensive analysis and holistic solutions in the growing research world. The Microbiology Research Centre is housed with state-of-the-art equipment to support the students, research scholars, industrialists and other researchers across the country. 
The Microbiology Research Centre is all set to translate the indigenous knowledge on microbial behaviour to various industrial applications.
